Honoring Service — Restoring Hope

A veteran-led team devoted to helping our own find their way forward.

When existing systems fall short, veterans are left to navigate the hardest moments of their lives alone. We refuse to let that happen. We walk beside each veteran from their lowest point to a stronger, fuller version of themselves — providing case management, helping them overcome housing barriers, and linking them to the mental health and substance use care they need every step of the way.

With your help, we can make a difference

Operation Forgotten Heroes is a veteran-led outreach effort dedicated to finding veterans struggling with PTSD and substance use disorders — and standing beside them every step of the way. We're the bridge to effective, well-vetted care, but we don't stop there: through case management, help navigating housing barriers, and connections to proven treatment, we walk with each veteran from their lowest point to a stronger, more whole version of themselves.

Our approach

How we do it differently.

01

We Find Them

We don't wait for veterans to come to us. We go out — into communities, shelters, and courtrooms — to locate veterans who have fallen through the cracks of every system meant to help them.

02

We Walk With Them

Recovery doesn't happen in a single handoff. We provide ongoing case management, peer support, and help navigating housing barriers — staying beside each veteran from their lowest point forward.

03

We Connect Them

We've built relationships with proven, well-vetted treatment programs specializing in PTSD and substance use disorders. We match each veteran with the right care — and make sure they get there.

17.6 veterans die by suicide every day.

The Western United States — where we work — has the highest regional veteran suicide rate in the country. We refuse to accept that as inevitable. Every dollar you give goes toward changing that.
